Puyallup’s many opportunities for getting outside and enjoying the outdoors is one of the top reasons why people choose to live there! REALTOR® Amber Tuck is excited to shine the spotlight on a few park options that are suited for those of all ages, especially families with little ones.
Here are her 5 top recommendations for bike trails and parks in the Puyallup area—plus tons of tips for how to thoroughly enjoy your trip to each one!
“[Sam Peach Park is] very quiet [and there’s] not much street traffic—makes it great for kids!” says Amber. They have a great paved trail for bikes and strollers, and it’s especially awesome for beginning bikers. There’s also a playground, a field for playing ball, and it’s dog-friendly.
Go for a walk around this scenic paved trail (you might even spot some wildlife!), and at the end of the trail loop, you’ll find yourself at the South Hill Community Park. At the dog-friendly park, you’ll find a playground, public bathrooms, a field for playing in, and a large parking lot for your convenience.
“[Puyallup Skatepark has] 10,000-square-feet of paved obstacles for skateboards, rollerblades, and bicycles. [It’s] clean and family friendly, [and] very slow during school hours for new riders,” shares Amber.
Enjoy gorgeous views of Mt. Rainier from this trail that’s great for an easy ride! Not only is it bike and stroller friendly, but there is a BMX park and skatepark along the trail that’s good for all ages of riders.
“[This park is the] busiest of the list!” says Amber. “[There’s a] long, paved trail great for bikes and strollers, two playgrounds, picnic tables, [and] lots of grass space!”
Amber emphasizes that there are so many parks in the Puyallup area, but these are just a few of her favorites. Do you have any questions about living in Puyallup? Get in touch with REALTOR® Amber Tuck at firstname.lastname@example.org!
