Windermere Professional Partners Donates 65 Bikes to 2nd Cycle in Tacoma!

On Saturday, May 6th 2017, Windermere Professional Partners hosted a community event, Cycle-Re-Cycle, to collect bicycles to donate to 2nd Cycle in Tacoma!

2nd Cycle was founded in May 2008, and since then has grown into a community bike shop with a mission to support, educate, and advocate for new and experienced cyclists in the Hilltop and surrounding Tacoma area. They provide community workspace, maintenance and repair classes, literature, full repair service, as well as new and used bicycles and bike components!

Many from the community (Even a few four-legged-friends!) stopped by Cycle-Re-Cycle to donate their old bikes and enjoyed bike workshops, delicious food, and fun music! At the end of the day, 65 bikes, as well as many helmets and miscellaneous bicycle parts, were donated to 2nd Cycle!

Huge thank you to all who donated their bicycles and their time to make Cycle-Re-Cycle a total sucess! It was truly a day of fun for the whole family, and we can't wait to host our second annual Cycle-Re-Cycle event next year!

2nd Cycle maintains accessibility by providing affordable pricing, and hopes that others, like them, feel empowered by learning how to fix and maintain their personal cycle.
