The article goes over the five keyt factors that will govern housing markets over the next few years, and where we stand on them. Once again, Washington State is given a special mention:

A similar influx of job seekers is fueling housing demand in the Washington area, where 25,700 new jobs were added in the 12 months since April 2010. This is one worth reading all the way through. The basic gist is that while things are still rough economically it will be hard for housing to recover- but once the economy picks up certain markets (including ours) are poised to take off.
