Island Living in the Pacific Northwest

Last updated August 19, 2020

Fox Island is a quaint island community located off of the southern end of Gig Harbor, WA. The island is home to approximately 3,000 residents who enjoy the quiet calm of island life, and depending on their location, Fox Island residents are even afforded beautiful views of Mt. Rainier to the east, Tacoma Narrows Bridge to the northeast, and beautiful sunsets over the Olympic Mountains to the west.

Fox Island is also home to a few churches, a Post Office, a Shell gas station, Zog’s Pub, Fox Island History Museum, a fire station, and the Fox Island Yacht Club. Residents and visitors can also enjoy fishing from the Fox Island Fishing Pier while enjoying breathtaking views of Mt. Rainier.

Depending on where your home is located on Fox Island, you will find yourself anywhere from 10-20 minutes from all of the amenities of Gig Harbor. The drive is quiet, peaceful, and most importantly there’s no traffic.

I am proud to all Fox Island my home. Drop me a line—it would be my pleasure to show you around our little island.
