When it comes to grocery shopping in University Place, residents are fortunate in that they have several excellent options! REALTOR® Debbie Homeyer shared with us that she loves all of the in-store deli options, fresh fruits and veggies, great wine selections, and more!

These 3 grocery stores are all located on one main street that runs through University Place:

Harbor Greens: 2620 Bridgeport Way W / Open 7am-8pm

Built in 2013, Harbor Greens offers locals with a wide selection of groceries, including an in-house butcher, full-serve deli, garden center and nursery, and more. It’s also worth noting that their deli has an excellent lunch (soups, salad, sandwiches, pizza, flatbreads, hot dogs and more) with in-store seating!

Whole Foods: 3515 Bridgeport Way W / Open 7am-10pm

As the most recent addition, Whole Foods was just built in 2015. This dynamic grocery store has a juice bar, coffee bar, bakery, and the “Lumberyard,” a wood-fire pizza venue that also offers local beer on tap, plus wine sold by the glass.

Trader Joe’s: 3800 Bridgeport Way W / Open 8am-9pm

Built in 2013, Trader Joe’s is a fantastic option for a wide variety of groceries. Especially of note is their many seasonal offerings, like a range of pumpkin-flavored items in the autumn, and special holiday items. Buy it when you see it… because these specialty items often go like hot cakes!
