Collecting Items for Charlie’s Dinosaur
During the month of September, Windermere Professional Partners teamed with Charlie’s Dinosaur, an outreach program through Crime Stoppers of Tacoma/Pierce County, to collect new coats and school supplies for children and teens being removed from dangerous home situations. Over the course of the month, WPP collected a total of 839 Items and $747.36!
Charlie’s Dinosaur was established in 2012 with a mission to offer comfort and assistance through quiet acts of kindness and generosity to foster children. The program aims to provide children with relief and reassurance by having their own complete set of clothing, personal care items, and small toys when faced with the overwhelming emotion that comes from being removed from their home and family. WPP is honored to work with Charlie’s Dinosaur, and grateful for the opportunity to contribute toward the program’s extraordinary vision.
