Before joining Windermere Professional Partners, Jim served in the US Navy Seabees and then worked as an Automotive Service Manager & Advisor, and for a short time, he was home inspector. He began his real estate career with the desire to achieve his long-term goal of self-employment while simultaneously helping others.
When we asked Jim what his favorite part about being a REALTOR® is, he replied, “Handing keys over to the new home-owner or congratulating the home seller when we have their home sold and closed. It is always fun to meet new folks and get to be a part of helping them reach their goals, but the real reward is the look on their faces when they are done with the sale or purchase.” When Jim is not in the office, he loves to spend time with his wife Cara, 14 year old son Levi, and adorable 2-year-old daughter Alivia. He also seems to always have some sort of home improvement project in process.
Tacoma Branch Manager Sloan Hunter says “Jim Swanson has built his successful business by providing thorough market knowledge and offering quality advice to his clientele, who in return have been come back to him over and over and proudly refer Jim to their friends and family for their real estate needs. WPP thanks Jim for his 5 years with the company and his service with the US Navy Seabees.”
“My experience with Windermere is just great,” says Jim, “But the real team that has my back are the managers, owners, and other brokers at Windermere Professional Partners. I am so thankful that I found my way to this office.” We are grateful that you are a part of the WPP family, too, Jim! Cheers to 5 amazing years with WPP, and many more ahead!
