REALTOR® Tisha Marie treats all of her clients with the same level of care and commitment. Whether you’re looking for a $10,000 lot or a multimillion dollar home, you will always feel confident knowing that Tisha is working on behalf of your best interests!
Tisha’s goal for each of her clients is to ensure that their buying or selling experience is equally educational as it is enjoyable. Her colleagues describe her as being fun to be around and non-judgemental while having a warm, compassionate, and inviting personality. Tisha is also transparent and honest, especially in the face of adverse circumstances that can sometimes happen during a transaction. When such an issue arises, she makes a point of identifying possible resolutions to present to her clients along with the challenges.
During her first years in real estate, Tisha worked through many situations that you won’t find in a training video or textbook! Oftentimes, the best way to learn is through personal, first-hand experience. Her previous real estate firm was a small family-owned company and among the top producers in both Mason & Kitsap counties. The brokers at the company had over 200 years of combined experience, and they never hesitated to share their knowledge, skill development strategies, and helpful tips with Tisha. Most importantly, they showed her through action that clients are the top priority, and as agents it’s essential to keep up with market trends, forms, laws and policies, CC&Rs, zoning regulations, and more. Tisha believes that seeking knowledge and staying up to speed on changes is critical, and she is looking forward to helping you with your real estate needs!
Before her real estate career, Tisha worked in sales for Audi and Ford for 3 years, and previously—before she married an active duty Army Officer and they had to move—she worked in television and film production on several feature films and on a nationally syndicated TV show. Tisha worked on productions like "Moonrise Kingdom" directed by Wes Anderson starring Bill Murray, Bruce Willis, and Tilda Swinton; "RIPD" starring Ryan Reynolds; "The A-List: NY" a reality TV show; and more.
Tisha is also the founder of a local nonprofit organization LegallyBLACK, and most of her free time is spent working with the nonprofit's board of directors, members, community, and local government officials. This is her passion—working to evoke change for the betterment of humanity so all people have access to the tools and resources needed to live a safe, healthy, and prosperous life. It’s hard work, but it’s necessary work and she loves it!
Art is also a passion for Tisha—it is her first love, and she especially loves dance and writing. She is a part-time voice over artist, a published author, life-long dancer, host, and actress. Tisha tries to write often (she’s working on a second book!), and although she no longer dances professionally (she was a professional Hip Hop dancer in high school in a troupe called Off The Curb), she dances around the house and it still brings her joy!
Tisha is originally from Newport, Rhode Island, and today she calls Tacoma home.
Q: What can clients expect when working with you? How do you typically communicate with them?
A: I am an extrovert, and I enjoy face-to-face communication to maximize my time and opportunity in getting to know my clients and their needs. I pay attention to nonverbal cues, and I ensure each of my clients has my undivided attention when we are together or on the phone/Zoom. It’s important to me to listen, repeat what's heard to confirm my complete understanding, share information/steps and ideas, discuss potential hurdles and how we can work through them, provide positive feedback, and maintain clear and effective communication from start to close... and beyond!
Q: Tell us more about the kind of real estate you specialize in! What neighborhoods do you work in?
A: I specialize in helping my clients buy and sell single-family homes (including manufactured homes on leased land and/or title eliminated) and vacant land.
Q: Why are you excited to join Windermere Professional Partners?
A: At first it was the community involvement that attracted me to WPP. Then soon after I learned more about career growth potential, advanced development, tools/workshops/programs, and cultural diversity. The proximity to my house was the cherry on top!
