Karina Haaseth loves the dedication to high-quality service that she sees in the Windermere Professional Partners team. Karina appreciates the fact that Tacoma is such a vibrant and diverse city, and she admires how involved WPP is in the local community and how they’re able to make a positive impact on people’s lives.
Karina’s previous work experience has been centered around community events and outreach. As a former employee of the Humane Society for Tacoma and Pierce County, Karina was responsible for adoption and outreach events, a community grant program, as well as managing volunteers and assisting with operational duties. Prior to this role, she worked for the Skagit County Parks and Recreation department and assisted with coordinating the Skagit County Fair, planning field events and entertainment, managing volunteers, and assisting with various parks and recreation projects. She is also a former employee at REI in Tacoma.
As a resident of Central Tacoma, Karina feels fortunate to live in a growing and evolving city. She particularly loves her neighborhood because she can walk to 6th Ave to enjoy our delicious local cuisine and beer (all while supporting local businesses!), and she enjoys spending time with friends and family. As an environmental enthusiast and activist, Karina loves to get outside, whether she’s hiking, backpacking, running, snowshoeing, or paddle boarding. She also enjoys reading, cooking, playing board/card games and spending quality time with loved ones.
