REALTOR® Heidi Hechtman is a straightforward, honest broker who strives to help clients complete the transaction of buying or selling their home on terms and conditions that meet their unique needs.

Building trust with clients has been a cornerstone of Heidi’s career. A home is personal because it makes a statement about you. Heidi knows how important it is to take the time to get to know her clients and gain their trust in order to help them find a home that is reflective of what is important to them. Over her many years in the interior design and home furnishing industries, Heidi built long term relationships with her clients. For her, the measure of success is if a client would choose to work with her again, and Heidi is proud to have many long-term clients that have repeatedly worked with her on various projects.

Heidi has spent her entire career in the home industry. After having earned a degree in Interior Design, Heidi started her career working for a premier builder helping to design plats as well as overseeing the interior and exterior design of the homes they built. Heidi has also managed remodel projects and has extensive experience in the furniture industry. Heidi knows what makes a home, and how to assess the potential in each unique house. Following the real estate market has always been a genuine interest for Heidi, she knows the market and is ready to help you whether you’re buying or selling.

Heidi lives in Tacoma’s North End. Family and friends are what is most important to her; she enjoys spending time with them and being there for her loved ones when she’s needed. Heidi has been married to her husband Hans for 25 wonderful years, and she has 2 adult children - Hunter and Jakob, who she is very proud of. When it’s time to relax, Heidi enjoys walking her dogs - Violet and Mable, and traveling with her husband.

A: Clients can expect me to work hard and represent their interests in a professional manner. I am collaborative and have high integrity with a straightforward style. I strive to make sure that my clients get treated the same way I would want to be treated—with respect. I meet unforeseen challenges head on and get things handled. I am honest and informative, working with my clients so that we can make the right decisions together.
