Heather started her career as a news reporter in Medford, Oregon in 1998. After reporting and anchoring in Minneapolis, she gave up her career to raise her family and started investing in rental properties. She loved the idea of owning real estate and the opportunity it gave her and her family to build wealth. She went on to get her real estate license in 2005 and never looked back!
Heather worked as a REALTOR® in Minnesota before moving to Washington in 2009. Currently, Heather also anchors Pierce County News which helps her stay abreast of current events happening in the county, an important aspect of being a REALTOR®! In a market that is changing rapidly, Heather knows how important it is for buyers and sellers to work with someone who has experience and knows how to help them get what they need.
Q: What can clients expect when working with you? How do you typically communicate with them?
A: Buying and selling a home is one of the biggest events in a person's life, and I take my job very seriously. My happy clients will tell you that they felt like they were my only client, because I make sure that I’m always there when they had a question, and I consistently communicated every step of the buying and selling process. I’m detail-oriented, personable, friendly, and I can relate to all types of people.
Q: Tell us more about the kind of real estate you specialize in! What neighborhoods do you work in?
A: I moved here from the Midwest, and I love helping people relocate to this area so they can get to know and love the Puget Sound area like I do! I’m an expert on the Pierce County market, and I have happy clients in cities all over the Puget Sound.
I live, work and play in North Tacoma and Gig Harbor. I absolutely love these areas, but I will travel anywhere in Pierce County! About half of my business has been helping our active military and veterans buy and sell homes, and I am so thankful for our military service members and I feel fortunate to play a role in helping them make the Puget Sound their home!
