- I’m a volunteer photographer for Soulumination, a non-profit that celebrates the lives of children and parents facing life-threatening conditions by providing free professional photographs of these special individuals and their families. I'm a member at Mt. Cross Lutheran Church in University Place. I have done several domestic and foreign Habitat for Humanity builds in the past.

Carl brings a wide variety of experience to his real estate career; he was a member of the Screen Actors Guild for 15 years, an award-winning photographer and filmmaker for 12 years, and he did improv comedy theater for a decade in Los Angeles. Carl even wrote and produced an Oscar qualifying short film called "All the Marbles”! Additionally, Carl was also the catering captain of high-end Hollywood events, a director of youth ministries, an office administrator, an assistant manager and head lifeguard of a city pool, an afterschool program specialist, and an America Reads tutor.
All of these experiences have helped show Carl the importance of being an organized, inclusive team player who is ready to resolve conflicts and take projects to the finish line. And with a history of producing films, managing parties for Hollywood elites and Rodeo Drive designer stores, and photographing large weddings, Carl does well under pressure and high stakes situations. He’s quick on his feet, and likes to maximize joy in all situations!
Carl lives in Tacoma, and he loves spending time with his 2 beautiful children and being outside. Rock and mountain climbing, gardening, hiking, camping, backpacking, cycling, snowboarding, and kayaking are a few of his favorite things to do.
Q: What can clients expect when working with you? How do you typically communicate with them?
A: I am detail and goal-oriented with a calm and collected disposition. I am also direct and swift with a kind smile and a laid-back nature.
