REALTOR® Amy Waiss has always loved working in roles where it was her responsibility to help others succeed, and her job as a real estate agent is no different. In addition to being a direct and proactive person who isn’t afraid to tackle challenges head on, Amy puts the needs of others before her own. For many years she has honed her ability to care for others, whether it means settling a dispute, keeping people safe, or finding guidance when help is needed.
Honesty and vulnerability are important to Amy, and she hopes clients will feel comfortable enough with her to share what they’re going through. She wants to celebrate your successes just as much as she wants to be there for you during the hard times. As someone who is uniquely gifted at making connections with people, Amy has had it pointed out that strangers and friends alike are able to easily open up to her. Whether it’s on the jumpseat on an airplane with a crewmember she’s never met before (Amy is currently a flight attendant with Alaska Airlines!), or she’s just running errands at the grocery store, Amy constantly finds herself meeting new people and striking up meaningful, interesting conversations with them.
Amy brings a breadth of valuable experience to her real estate career. She has been a lifeguard and has taught swim lessons at TLTC; she worked as a leasing manager at a brand new apartment complex in Laramie, WY where she attended college; she was a bartender and waitress all throughout college; she did housekeeping at the Hilton; and Amy also worked at Lululemon for a few years. She has a strong work ethic and is ready to prove herself!
Amy has called Tacoma’s North End home for over 20 years, and she knows the ins and outs of the neighborhood well. Taking on new adventures makes Amy happy, and she chooses to find the silver lining even when things get tough. Amy is dedicated to personal growth, and loves to focus on people and things in life that give back the same energy that she puts out. She also enjoys going to the gym and playing Xbox—the two balance each other out!
Q: What can clients expect when working with you? How do you typically communicate with them?
A: Because of my age (go figure!) I’m on my phone all the time. I’m quick to respond, even if I’m flying! The cool thing about multitasking as a flight attendant and real estate agent is the fact that I have a flexible schedule and have accessibility!
Q: Why are you excited to join Windermere Professional Partners?
A: I’m excited to have a team beside me that pride themselves on integrity, honesty, and professionalism. I’m thrilled to be part of a community that is one of the most respected real estate brands in the country!
