Karen Noland puts the 'Real' into REALTOR®, keeping things down to earth, real and best of all...fun! Karen knows that buying or selling real estate can be a very complicated process, but whether it’s your first experience or your third, she does her very best to make it an enjoyable and memorable experience!
Before her career as a REALTOR®, Karen’s first job was as a telephone operator— you know, back when you actually dialed “0” and talked to a real person! This was followed by a career in banking where she became a Corporate Trust Officer for First Trust Bank, and then went on to work as a Loan Officer and a Branch Manager for some top-producing offices. Finally needing a change of scenery, Karen entered into “the wild and crazy world of real estate” (her words!) and has been working as a REALTOR® for a decade now.
Karen prides herself on something simple: she truly enjoys what she does! She believes that this is reflected in her repeat client base, and she is more than ready to be your “REALTOR® for life!”
Q: What can clients expect when working with you?
A: I put myself out there and do not hide behind barriers. I want my clients to know that not only am I a professional, an educator and a great negotiator, but I also really have fun through the process. Life is way too short to not enjoy the people and the twists and turns along the way, and I can guarantee you will want to come along for a ride with me!
Q: Tell us more about the kind of real estate you specialize in! What neighborhoods do you work in?
A: As a long-time resident in the North End of Tacoma, I am partial to the older homes and the charm of this neighborhood. With tree-lined streets, access to the waterfront and of course, walking distance to many restaurants and pubs, what's not to like? I also like the city life and Downtown Tacoma has awesome choices for urban living. And then there is the country girl in me that likes to get a little further away and have some quiet and more than a postage-sized lot… that's where Summit and Frederickson come into play, a couple of other neighborhoods I love working in!
