Corey Matney’s first goal as a REALTOR® isn’t just to simply sell you something— it’s to assist you through your personal process of buying or selling your home. Corey started selling homes in 2008, and needless to say, it was a challenging time for the real estate market!
He feels incredibly blessed to have made it through the recession as a full-time REALTOR®, and knows he would never have made it without his supportive family, friends, and clients that have turned into friends along the way. Corey believes that’s it’s truly the greatest compliment to anyone in the real estate industry when someone shows you their loyalty by continuing to work with you, and referring you to their friends and family.
Q: What can clients expect when working with you?
A: I feel like the key to my service is to break down the process in a way that minimizes my clients’ stress while fighting for every dollar of theirs. By the time the process is done, 99 times out of 100 we've become like family. Buying a home is the largest investment that people usually make in their lives, and it's my job to comfort them with an honest perspective of the things that can hurt them.
I always tell people that they deserve their own process, whatever that may look like. We may start tomorrow but not finish for a year or two, and I believe that every buyer and seller deserves to work through what they want to within the time that they need. My goal is always the same, to sprint to get what my people need as quickly as I can, and then wait until they are ready for the next step.
It might sound funny, but I specialize in working with appreciative and respectful people, and that's what I look to focus on so that I can give 150%!
