From answering phones and assigning faxes to helping with paperless files, at Windermere Professional Partners, Mikaela Branch works to maintain the flow of the office and she helps with anything she can. She loves everyone’s “go get it” attitude, the fast pace of everything, and lucky for us, Mikaela feels that it’s an amazing time to be involved in real estate!
Mikaela loves working with people, and her roles at previous companies reflect that. Before joining us at WPP, she was part of a research group at UW that worked on restructuring the Neighborhood Council Program in Tacoma to coincide with the city's Vision 2025 (can you tell she loves Tacoma?). She was also an intern at the Pierce County Auditor’s Office, where she performed independent research on ways to increase voter turnout in local elections. During college, she worked as a barista and as a cashier at Whole Foods.
Currently, Mikaela lives in the Proctor District, and her favorite thing about the neighborhood is being able to walk to the farmers market on Saturday mornings for flowers, produce, and coffee! She also loves reading nonfiction books about economics and psychology, thrifting, watercolor painting, and exploring the great Pacific Northwest.
