Crockett’s Public House

For a meal to please all palates, no place around beats Crockett’s Public House. “Crockett’s has a large menu from traditional to unique in a bustling environment,” says REALTOR® Trish Stone. Indeed, the historical building that houses this restaurant is filled with unique structures and decor and the food is fresh, delicious, and perfect for a night out with the family. Featured on the Food Network show Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives, Crockett’s is a local and out-of-town destination!

Trackside Pizza of Puyallup

Located at 201 N. Meridian Puyallup, WA 98371

Part of the Crockett’s family, Trackside is a dinner spot your kids are sure to love. Trish and REALTOR® Jim Swanson both thoroughly recommend this popular spot: “For pizza, Trackside is a neat spot, especially if you have kids,” says Trish. “You can watch them make the food and even let the kiddos help make their own pizzas!”

She adds that it is “literally right beside the train tracks,” which is one of the major draws that the little ones can’t get enough of. For a truly memorable meal, stop by this one-of-a-kind pizza joint for a treat!

Fiesta Taqueria & Tequila Bar

If you’re looking to add some south-of-the-border flair to your next meal, check out Fiesta Taqueria & Tequila Bar. “If Mexican is your thing, Fiesta Taqueria & Tequila Bar has huge, fresh plates,” Trish shares. “I barely made a dent in my skillet fajitas! They are currently expanding so maybe be patient—it's worth it!”

Bold flavors, authentic dishes, and over 150 different tequilas make this a definite top spot for gourmet Mexican in the Puyallup Valley.

British Bites

For something a bit more European, British Bites is the spot. “If you're into something a little off the grid, British Bites is a must,” says Trish. “Everything is homemade and sticks to the most traditional plates. And they have delicious pastries!” With authentic flavors, proper tea services, and a shop loaded with unmistakably English goodies, British Bites is a favorite among native Brits and curious Americans alike. Tip: From 2:30pm-4:30pm every Tuesday-Friday, you can pop into British Bites and enjoy a different kind of Happy Hour, complete with tea and food selections from their bistro and bakery (click here for more info).

HG Bistro

If you’re in the mood for a meal that’s a little more elevated, HG Bistro is the perfect casually elegant spot. “HG Bistro over on East Main[’s]... got a decent Happy Hour and the atmosphere is positive,” says Jim. “I’ve only been for Happy Hour but it’s worth dropping in.”

REALTORS® Debbie Homeyer and Miles Eaton second the HG rec, with Miles noting HG’s “amazing Happy Hour, [it’s] locally owned, [and they have] fantastic drinks, delicious food and awesome atmosphere!” Whether it’s date night or Friday night after work, you will find the right dinner vibe at HG Bistro.

Tip: Join HG Bistro for their highly recommended Happy Hour, everyday from 3:00pm-6:00pm, all day Sunday and Monday, and 9:00pm-10:00pm Friday and Saturday.

Mama Stortini’s Restaurant & Bar Puyallup

If you’re wondering where the best Italian cuisine in Downtown Puyallup is, let Jim give you the scoop. “Italian? Gotta be Mama Stortini’s in East Main. Now that’s a classy joint for dinner,” he shares. This restaurant’s warm, inviting ambiance, real and varied Italian dishes, and delicious drinks give you everything you need for a nice night out.

TK Irish Pub

For some good old Irish grub, TK Irish Pub is a local favorite. “TK's has the best steaks and a menu of Irish dishes to choose from,” says Patti Connolly. Enjoy a wide selection of fresh dishes (including a late night menu for all of the night owls out there) and wash it all down with a cold glass of Guinness while taking in the bar’s fun atmosphere. With specials and events held everyday of the week, there’s never a bad time to check out TK’s.

Tip: Stop by Monday-Friday from 3:00pm-7:00pm for TK’s Happy Hour, where you can get $1.00 off all well drinks, wine, liquor, and beer and $2.00 off all pub grub.

Bumpy’s

Another top bar spot, according to Patti, is Bumpy’s. “If you're looking for the best bar food, Bumpy's has great daily specials,” she shares. “[On] Mondays [they have everything] from chili dogs to Seattle dogs and burgers, [and they have] Taco Tuesday...and more! Also, where else can you get one of the best Bloody Mary's on the planet at 6am?!”

Whether you make it a late-night stop or an early-morning start, Bumpy’s cannot be beat (oh and if you do “...stop in early, tell Bill the bartender that Patti says ‘Hi!’”).

Flanagan’s Craft Pub

If you’re looking for a place to catch the Seahawks games and get some delicious food and drinks to boot, Flanagan’s should definitely be on your list. “Flanagan’s is a great pub where the manager makes sure everyone is taken good care of,” says Debbie.

Indeed, the wide and rotating beer selections, high-quality, low-priced foods, and multitude of TVs make for a truly ideal bar environment that sports fans will not want to pass up.
