Leave it to CNBC to miss the point entirely. The extension of the program was to give more time to borrowers who had already been contract on a home, close on the home and receive the credit. The way CNBC couched their story; it left the impression that congress had extended the program. They took the opportunity to take a swipe at the lobbing efforts of the Real Estate and lending. There is a reason no pays attention to CNBC, such bias story is not reporting, its commentary.
