Working with people to make their dreams come true and building a community are two of Amy Steele’s greatest joys— in addition to being a wife and mother! Connecting with people and understanding the meaning of “home” as it affects their family and the lifestyle they envision for themselves is critical, and Amy truly listens to the hopes and dreams of her clients so she can find out how to make them a reality!
In real estate, Amy has helped both buyers and sellers and has worked on everything from traditional sales to HUD and short sales. She’s not afraid to explore different options for clients in order to figure out what’s best for each individual and their uniques set of needs.
Before becoming a REALTOR®, Amy worked as a teacher, a profession that segued well into her current career, as both are positions of service and education. Amy is also the mother of three daughters, and she enjoys being involved with them at school. She finds that staying involved in their academics and various activities is key to their success and the success of the community as a whole.
Q: What can clients expect when working with you?
A: Customer service is where I shine, and I enjoy taking the time to make those extra special touches! I never want people to feel like they are just another transaction for me. I’ve found that I become friends with many of my clients, and that’s what makes my job so much fun! I focus on connecting with people and making sure that I do as much as possible to get them where they want to go on time.
Q: Tell us more about the kind of real estate you specialize in! What neighborhoods do you work in?
A: I specialize in the North Tacoma because both living and working in the North End keeps me connected to everything. I have a vested interest in seeing people in my neighborhood well-taken care of.
Old homes are my passion, and currently my husband and I are remodeling our second home. More than anything I enjoy seeing new life brought into old homes. Seeing people revive homes and give them another chance at glory always makes me happy!
